BUSECO successfully conducts

2013 Performance Evaluation and Assessment

BUSECO for the year 2012 was recognized by National Electrification Administration (NEA) as a Triple A Electric Cooperative and ranked top 10 among the country’s electric cooperatives. With the set Key Performance Indicator (KPI), BUSECO got 100%, a perfect score. This simply entails that BUSECO is a well manage and a very promising electric cooperative.

With its current status, BUSECO Board of Directors, Management and Staff, Partners and Associates, Multi-Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) and Barangay Member Consumer Electrification Council (BMCEC) are exhausting all means to maintain its categorization.

On January 27-28 after the necessary reports were prepared by the respective departments, BUSECO effectively conducted its 2013 Evaluation and Assessment. The activity was spearheaded by its General Manager Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA together with its Executive Committees (Department/Division Managers) and Management Committee (Section Heads, Selected Office Representatives). During the said activity, accomplishments of all departments for the year were presented. Participants of the said activity were also given chances to ask questions to the presenter and expressed their comments on the accomplishment of the respective departments to ensure common understanding and perspective.

Current Reality Dialogue (CRD) was also conducted after presentation of the Accomplishment Reports for the management to evaluate the current status of the cooperative. GM Arellano believes that by answering the “where are we now?” question, BUSECO will be able to assess its stance and will be able to craft plans and programs for the cooperative to position strategically in the industry.

With the activity, BUSECO is confident that the cooperative will maintain its categorization while striding harder to realize its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.

Onwards BUSECO!
