BUSECO, LGU-MF and Green Renewable Holdings signs MOU for the development of 10-MW Mangima River Mini Hydro Electric Power Plant
With the relentless endeavor to deliver sufficient power supply to its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) at a reasonable power rates and to alleviate the worsening power crisis in Mindanao, the Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich and Green Renewable Holdings, Inc. enter into Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Development of 10-MW Mangima River Mini Hydro Electric Power Plant on January 6, 2017 at Mangima Canyon Springs and Country Park, Manolo, Bukidnon.
The MOU shall serve as the initial agreement of the Parties. However, the responsibilities being contemplated in the MOU may be subject to a more definitive agreement/s between the Parties as may be required in the course of the evaluation, development and implementation of the Project.
The Parties agree to work in partnership to mobilize best efforts and explore other initiatives that will help further the objectives of providing sufficient power to Bukidnons.

Present during the said contract signing were: Honourable Mayor Rogelio N. Quino, the Mayor of the Municipality of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon; Honourable Miguel Zubiri, the former Senator of the Republic of the Philippines, an advocate of the development of renewable energy sources; Mr. Patrick Roman, representative from the Equis Group of company, the representatives from BUSECO, represented by the Board President, President Eligio C. David Jr., together with Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA-BUSECO General Manager/CEO, Director Edwin Galicia, Director Gloria Ranile, Director Miguel Quiňo Director Alex Payangga and Director Francis Boniao; and representatives/head of offices of LGU Manolo Fortich.
BUSECO considers this accomplishment as a milestone to celebrate for this will ensure delivery of reliable power supply at a reasonable price to its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) in the upcoming years. This project entails sustainability of the cooperative and a great help in attaining its goal of becoming a World Class Organization.
