BUSECO – IEC conducts Strategic Planning Conference
The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) General Manager, Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA strongly believes that for the cooperative to hasten its pace towards becoming a World Class Organization, each Partners and Associates must understand their duties and functions and must know the cooperative’s direction. Each must knew and internalized the cooperative’s plans and programs for them to align themselves with the organizational goal and do their share for the advancement of BUSECO.
In view of the foregoing, the Information and Education Committee (IEC) of BUSECO conducted Strategic Planning Conference at Marco Hotel, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City last May 29-30, 2014. At the start of the conference, each of the members of the committee expressed their expectation. The committee subsequently assessed the pace of the IEC through Current Reality Dialogue. SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis was then carried out by the group.
The committee then reviewed its objectives as well as its syllabus for the campaign specifically through radio programs. Topics were assessed as to its applicability and then some updates were then inserted to ensure that all topics that its MCOs must be informed are integrated. Action plans were then deliberated to ensure that IEC plans will be implemented. The group also agreed to come up with a survey questionnaire to gauge the effectivity of its program.
General Manager Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA then shared a message to the group after presentation of its output. He encouraged the group to discuss ideas for the advancement of the cooperative.
This simply shows the relentless endeavor of BUSECO to find ways to inform all concerns of the cooperative’s status to empower its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) together with its Stakeholders. BUSECO believes that with proper information dissemination, stakeholders will understand the cause of the cooperative as a movement and such would be a great help for the BUSECO in achieving its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
Onwards and Soar High BUSECO!
