BUSECO holds IEC conference
As the Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) endeavors to be recognized as a World Class Organization, it is very important that the cooperative is trusted and well supported by its Member Consumer Owners (MCOs). BUSECO believes that the only way to gain massive trust and support
is for its MCOs to be properly informed and educated. By proper information and education, MCOs will understand the cause of the cooperative, they will be empowered and they will help protect the interest of the cooperative. This is also the precise reason why the cooperative created a committee to ensure that this advocacy will be sustained.
On January24, 2015, the Information and Education Committee held a planning and evaluation meeting at Marco Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. During the meeting, the committee evaluated the strength and weaknesses of the committee, able to schedule radio guest and able to tackle current issues that needs to be addressed. The meeting is a success because the committee were able to arrest important issues and able to establish a position to protect the interest of the cooperative and its MCOs. Further, IEC members were able to share their individual perspective for the good of the group and the cooperative.
Present during the meeting were: GM Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA; Florgene A. Sumintan; Agripino Mangaron, Jr.; Jane Kristy Pelae, Beblie Caunan, Mikeron Fallarcuna ; Rolando Galarrita; and Theresa M. Justaga.
The activity simply shows the continued commitment of the cooperative to inform, educate and most of all empower the MCOs and to better give them timely information through different medium of communication. BUSECO hopes that this initiative and undertaking will serve as strong bond among its three pillars as the cooperative steps forward in realizing its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
Onwards and soar high BUSECO!
