BUSECO is proud to announce that the cooperative garnered eight (8) awards during the 2020 PHILRECA Awards from the Wires in celebration of PHILRECA 41st Annual General Assembly with the theme, charging for the Future: Strengthening the One EC MCO Movement Towards a Resilient Rural Electrification Program. The awarding is one part of the 4-day activity which comprised the 41st PHILRECA ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, YEAREND STRATEGIC CONFERENCE, and THANKSGIVING, held virtually on December 01-04, 2020.
The virtual awarding was attended and awards were received by the BUSECO Board of Directors headed by President Fr. Danilo T. Paciente together with BUSECO OIC-General Manager Cristopher A. Dulfo. The 2020 PHILRECA Awards from the Wires were endowed to Electric Cooperatives, officers, employees and honored guests for their exemplary performance in pursuit of Total Rural Electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement. Majority of the awards were based on the data provided by the National Electrification Administration (NEA) to PHILRECA.
The following recognitions were given to BUSECO:
1. Paramount Achievement Award. The Paramount Achievement Award is given to the EC for an exemplary performance as a triple-A (AAA) category EC in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.
2. Prompt Payor Award. The Prompt Payor Award is awarded to the EC for committing itself to timely and efficient settlement of its obligations to PHILRECA notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.
3. MCO Champion Award. The MCO Champion Award is given to the EC for attaining a high attendance rate of its member-consumer-owners during the coop’s 2019 AGMA.
4. Special Citation for ECs with Fully Liquidated Subsidy Fund for Rural Electrification. Special Citation for ECs With Fully Liquidated Subsidy Fund for Rural Electrification is given to the EC for successfully implementing projects that have strengthened the rural electrification program, and for efficiently providing a complete liquidation of subsidy funds for said initiatives.
5. Limelight Award. The Limelight Award is given to the EC for being the front runner in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all challenges confronting the rural electrification movement.
6. Extra Mile Award. The Extra Mile Award for implementing the Pantawid Liwanag Program, as well as other initiatives that are aimed to uplift the lives of the MCOs in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement.
7. Constant Contributor Award. The Constant Contributor Award is awarded to the EC for their continuous support to the goal of the One EC Network Foundation, Inc. (OECNF) in uplifting the lives of our dear brothers and sisters in the sector.
