Sitio Energization

Press Release January 21, 2014

BUSECO energizes seven (7) sitios

In line with the mandate and program of the Philippine President, His Excellency Benigno Simeon Aquino, of which to totally energize the far flung sitios through Sitio Electrification Program (SEP), the Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) endeavored to electrify sitios within its franchise area. This is to give equal opportunity to the people of Bukidnon, be they live at the urban or rural areas. Through SEP, people living in sitios will be able to enjoy the convenience brought by electricity as what have been long experienced by urban people.

With the collaborative efforts by the BUSECO Board of Directors, Management and Staff and Partners and Associates along with the supervision and support generously given by the National Electrification Administration (NEA), BUSECO were able to energize the following Sitios:

BUSECO is looking forward to completely electrify all sitios at the end of 2015. By totally electrifying, BUSECO will be able to spur development up to the rural areas of Northern Bukidnon. Thus, BUSECO will be able to fulfill its mission as a Distribution Utility at the same time as an Electric Cooperative while striking balance to reach its goal of becoming a World Class Organization in the near future.

Onwards and Soar High BUSECO!
