BUSECO signs 4.4 MW PSA with UMHEPCOR

 

The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) endeavors to deliver continuous and reliable electricity services to its Member Consumer Owners at affordable rate. Hence, BUSECO engages in developing Renewable Energy Sources and promotes embedded generation. This is the precise reason why BUSECO enters into Power Supply Agreement with Upper Manupali Hydro Electric Corporation (UMHEPCor).

On February 19, 2015, BUSECO signed Power Supply Agreement with UMHEPCor at Quadra, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. The term of contract is 25 years and expected to operate commercially on year 2020 with a contract price of PhP 5.40 / kWh upon approval of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

Chiong; GSD Manager Suzanne Capaque; OIC Internal Audit Zenaida Chiong; Paralegal Gemmabelle Leoncio; and Generation and Transmission Specialist Engr. Apple Teodeli Tindoc.

The signing signifies the cooperative’s strong support for the development of Renewable Energy as well as embedded generation. It is envisioned that with this Power Supply Agreement, BUSECO will be able to provide reliable, continuous and affordable electricity services to its Member Consumer Owners (MCOs) which is very relevant as BUSECO steps forward in realizing its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
