The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) remains firm on its endeavor to protect, promote and uphold the best interest of its valued Member-Consumer-Owners while it strives to enliven its vision as a reliable, viable and efficient electric distribution utility, operated and managed by competent, honest and responsive human resources towards satisfied consumers. BUSECO takes pride with its recent accomplishments whilst the interminable challenges the cooperative has encountered for the past years and even so in the recent months.
Thus, BUSECO undertakes to update all concerns of the cooperative’s status as well as the recent development embroiled on its operations in the various opportunities and avenues. BUSECO believes that with proper information dissemination, its’ impressive stance in the power industry and all its undertakings shall be brought to light, thus all stakeholders will understand and be rationalized with the cause of the cooperative as a movement and such would be a great help for BUSECO in achieving its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
Thus, on March 19, 2018 BUSECO sponsored the Bi-Monthly Convocation Program of the Local Government of Manolo Fortich held at the Manolo Fortich, Municipal Hall. BUSECO has been invited yearly to sponsor the said activity and the management welcomes said opportunity to inform and educate its stakeholders especially its partners in the Civil Service particularly, in Manolo Fortich, its host municipality.
The program was aptly started with an Invocation lead by MICS Manager Florgene A. Sumintan, followed by the Singing of the National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang and Provincial Anthem “Kanak ka Banuwa” as conducted Corplan Manager Ethel Marie J. Ombina. Panunumpa sa Katapatan sa Watawat and Panunumpa mg Kawani ng Gobyeron then ensued as lead Internal Auditor Roy A. Moises and Finance Manager Christy B. Escarro.
The convocation was opened with a motivating message by the very supportive Director for the District of Manolo Fortich, Director Alex D. Payangga. With the crest and highlight if the Convocation, OIC- General Manager Melchie R. Nacalaban, Llb presented the BUSECO accomplishment for the year 2017 as assessed through the National Electrification Administration Key Performance Standards (NEA-KPS) set for all Electric Cooperatives in the country. To give a response and to ensure that the audience would not be shorn of an inspiring message, Father of the Municipality of Manolo Fortich Honorable Mayor Clive D. Quino graced an enthusing message. The good Mayor commended the BUSECO management and BOD for a job well done for the previous years. Also, he reminded that let BUSECO not sit on its laurels yet continue to be challenge and to endeavor means of improving its services. The Convocation was concluded through a Closing Remarks by BUSECO Human Capital Management Services Division Manager Theresa M. Justaga.
BUSECO is privileged for the opportunity to present the status of the cooperative as well as honored to deliver its significant and worth-sharing accomplishments and as well impart the BUSECO map with its plans and programs for the year 2018 and beyond. The convocation also serves as a platform for BUSECO Management and BOD along with some of its partners and associates to interact and blend with the LGU Officials and workers being their partners in bringing services to the people in the municipality. Healthy relationship and rapport of the cooperative with the LGU shall promote strong support and participation from the latter which is essential in Bringing BUSECO close to its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
