BUSECO maximizes power curtailments

 

With the alleged critical situation of the Mindanao grid, which is operated by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, BUSECO for almost 15 days suffers the Manual Load Dropping implemented by NGCP every now and then. BUSECO incessantly requested for an official statement of NGCP with the situation but received no reply. Up to this moment, BUSECO has no control as to curtailments in its distribution system since NGCP will automatically dropped BUSECO with the alleged reason that the grid is critical without even given the cooperative the real reason why.

 

With the uncontrolled situation, BUSECO maximizes the power curtailments to improve further its distribution system. Several activities were performed through the Engineering and Technical Services Department with the leadership of Engr. Roseller Salise.

March 4, 2014	Replaced dilapidated pole at Kisolon, Sumilao Replaced wood crossarm to steel at Dalirig Feeder Replaced 1 unit cross arm near PETRON Gasoline station Replaced 2 units cross arm at Crossing Violete c2 and corrected service drops Carried out line clearing
March 5, 2014	Replaced dilapidated pole in front of Elementary School of Lindaban Replaced dilapidated pole 3 c1 structure at Lindaban Installed of Bukidnon Business Hotel Tapping Pole Installed of BIR Tapping Pole Relocated Pole near Tabios properly Replaced cut-out at Slaughter, Gaisano, Laguitas Replaced cross arm in Circuit 2 infront elementary school Installed tapping pole at Mindanao Grains

BUSECO is praying that the cooperative in particular and Mindanao in general will surpass this disturbances experience as declared by NGCP starting February 27, 2014 the soonest.

 

Hence, with the current crisis, BUSECO enjoins all MCOs and all concerned to be vigilant and always employ protective measures to protect your equipment/devices from damages.

 

BUSECO also hopes that NGCP and other agency can resolved the said disturbances the soonest for the advantage of everybody.
