BUSECO successfully holds Media Forum
With the endeavor of empowering its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) together with its Stakeholders, the Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative Inc. (BUSECO) relentlessly finds ways to inform all concerns of the cooperative’s status. BUSECO believes that with proper information dissemination, stakeholders will understand the cause of the cooperative as a movement and such would be a great help for the BUSECO in achieving its dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
On April 23, 2014, BUSECO held MEDIA FORUM at 3RD Floor, Meeting Room 2, Pine Hills, Malaybalay City. To set the mode of the forum, PR Man Leonard O. Leyros, acknowledged the attendance of the invited participants from various agencies. The program was then formally opened by a Welcome Address of BOD President Eligio C. David, Jr. PR Man at the same time MSEAC Chairman Rolando Galarrita then gave the Rationale of the Activity.
To apprise our media partners of the status of the cooperative and its priority targets, General Manager Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA presented the BUSECO 2013 Accomplishments and Plans for 2014. Moreover, Corporate Planning and Utility Economics Division Manager, Mr. Cristopher A. Dulfo, CPA, MBM then presented the Power Supply Updates of BUSECO considering the recent crisis we are experiencing. This is to give our partners information as to the happenings in the power industry and the cooperative’s action to protect the welfare of its MCOs.
An open forum was then conducted to ensure that all concerns of the participants were properly addressed. The program was then formally closed by Mr. Florgene Sumintan, HRAD Chief of BUSECO.

Ubilas of Bandilyo News; Jhonny Pailago of DxDB Radyo Bandilyo; Aida Jagudilla of PIA; Adam Opiala of LGU Malaybalay; Sharon Tacbobo of LGU Manolo Fortich; Rudy Tagimacruz of Bukidnon Press Club; Dane Clemencio of LGU Cabangalasan and Charlene Carampil of PGO/PAIA.
BUSECO is glad that with the short notice of invitation, our partners were able to attend the said forum. BUSECO believe that with media forum, channel of information will be broaden to the advantage of its MCOs.
This simply manifests the sincere intention of the cooperative to be transparent to its stakeholders which is very vital with the cooperative’s dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
